Toner/ Lotion is used immediately after cleansing, to restore pH level, and prepare the skin for the next steps of care. It also moisturises, protects and refreshes the skin. Lotion according to Asian (especially Japanese and Korean) skincare standards is a moisturiser that is lighter than milk/ cream  and contains a lot of water.
